It is likely having to go to the province or territory to be assessed for trade. Applicant may also need an employer in Canada to give the required experience and training. Job offer or certificate of qualification from province of destination is mandatory.

The pilot, launched in 2017, helps employers in Atlantic Canada hire foreign skilled workers who want to immigrate to Atlantic Canada and international graduates who want to stay in Atlantic Canada after they graduate. It must need employment offer from eligible employers from Nova Scotia, PEI, New Brunswick and Newfoundland & Labrador.

1. The Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot is a community-driven program. It’s designed to spread the benefits of economic immigration to smaller communities by creating a path to permanent residence for skilled foreign workers who want to work and live in one of the participating communities. The participating communities have their own eligibility requirements, job search process and community recommendation application process.

1. You may qualify for self employed program to apply for permanent residency in Canada.

Self employed program is one of the under-utilized programs of IRCC (highlighted below) due to the fact most of us not aware of its qualification and other eligibility. In fact, it requires less qualification on language and education compared to the other types of skilled programs. Any once has experience on NOC group 51 and 52 and has experience for – two 1-year period of full-time work experience in an eligible role in the last 5 years prior to submit the application of PR, would meet the easy qualification.
